Plein Air Painting Demonstration/Workshop with Local Artist Claudia Munro Kerr
Join local artist Claudia Munro Kerr for a Plein Air demonstration at Millbrook Library. Bring your own art supplies and feel free to find a spot in Millbrook to get inspired and paint afterwards.

Time: 9am - 10:45am
Location: Front lawn of Millbrook Library


"Artists, please bring the mediums that you are most accustomed to using.  I will paint in oil.  As I will be speaking about Colour, Values, Composition, Perspective, gesture and drawing, the medium will be secondary."   - Claudia Munro Kerr

Luke Johnson Afro-Brazilian Guitarist 
Hailing from the humble streets of Chicago, in a family of musicians, guitarist Luke Johnson learned guitar when he was four and soon got into blues, jazz, rock and Bossa Nova.  He has performed throughout the U.S. and around the world including Europe, Japan and Brasil.  For Luke, playing jazz and Bossa Nova is a celebration of life which is fun to share.

Wil Greenstreet - Alto Saxophone Soloist 
“Wil Greenstreet played guitar in the Australian band - Doug Parkinson In Focus and composed the soundtrack score for the 1974 cult classic biker movie “Stone” (Directed by Sandy Harbutt) under the name Billy Green, before traveling to the states. Stateside, he wrote a music study book, called Fourth Obsession: and has released numerous CD's singles and projects. Wil has played solo saxophone at the top of the Empire State Building for over a decade.” - player.fm

Geri Lougherity - Ukulele 
Long before Ukulele playing became the latest rage, Geri Loughery (lock-r-ee), was singing & playing ukulele in all the venues in & around Millbrook. A resident since 2012, she joyfully presents an eclectic mix of cover tunes & original songs with soulful optimism that leaves her audiences wanting more.

Jon Paul - “DJ - Ethical Drift 
“Ethical Drift is the pseudonym of Producer, Bassist, and DJ Jonathan Paul. After performing on stages worldwide with veteran New York City indie rock bands (Basic Vacation, The Nectars, Rectanglez, etc.), Ethical Drift emerges as a seasoned, futuristic house music project. With a focus on turntables during live performance, he weaves a blend of Disco, Funk, Indie Rock, and Electronic Noise into Future Gunk, a style that is uniquely New York.
